CSC’s laboratory system, LABKA II, has been available since 2006.

CSC currently has contracts with 40 hospitals for the delivery of LABKA II.
LABKA II is a laboratory information and production planning system for test ordering, analysis and results reporting. The system communicates with a whole host of cutting-edge laboratory equipment, including pre-analytical equipment.

LABKA II manages laboratory test requesting, distribution of tasks, collection and processing of results, validation, approval, reporting, data exchange and quality assurance.

LABKA II builds on component technology and includes tools that support the latest standards, visions and ideas for shaping the laboratory of the future.
The underlying technology is based on BEA WebLogic, Oracle, AIX, MS SQL and Windows.
